Matches was a name.

My name is Matt. Growing up, my grandfather gave me a nickname: Matches.
Some of my most meaningful memories with him happened beside a campfire in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. He made people feel that their stories and ideas mattered.
What stayed with me was how I felt: interesting, capable, believed in and known — like there was something in me worth discovering.
Those evenings taught me there is extraordinary potential inside people and between people. That belief became MATTTCHES: a name my grandfather gave me, a legacy I carry forward and an invitation to ignite human connection.
